Welcome, academics!

Joanna is an assistant professor of English at the City University of New York, Kingsborough, in Brooklyn, NY, where she has worked since 2009.

She is also a twice-elected representative to the college council and a member of the instructional committee and the department’s creative writing faculty.

Joanna was selected in 2024 for CUNY’s Faculty Fellowship Publication Program & has also participated in safe zone events and CUNY’s LGBTQIA+ Consortium.
